We are currently looking for a Injection Molding Manager for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

the role

  • Operational Leadership

    • Oversee daily operations within the injection molding department, ensuring all products meet customer demand and quality requirements.
    • Conduct daily virtual morning meetings with key staff to review factory issues and prioritize action items.
    • Facilitate 2-3 weekly meetings with the team to discuss operational activities, customer demands, quality issues, and overall progress.

    Technical Support and Guidance

    • Provide expertise in mold design, tooling repair, and maintenance to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
    • Offer technical guidance on molding production activities, ensuring optimal setup and efficient process flow.
    • Oversee continuous improvement (CIP) and automation activities, driving projects to completion and monitoring results to ensure effective implementation.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Establish, implement, and monitor continuous improvement programs to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Drive initiatives to improve automation and implement best practices in injection molding processes.

    Project Support and Business Development

    • Conduct feasibility studies, verifications, and cost evaluations for mold quotations related to RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities.
    • Collaborate with the sales and business development teams on new HDD and BHDD projects, providing technical support to align product capabilities with market needs.

the experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing engineering or any relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in injection molding operations, including mold design, tooling, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
